Jet Carrying US Defense Secretary Required to Land in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

A jet carrying Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unplanned landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the jet's front window, per an official announcement which confirmed that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane landed in accordance with established safety measures and everyone onboard, such as Pete Hegseth, is safe," an official representative said in a online announcement.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to Brussels during the flight.

This occurrence is not the initial instance that a US military aircraft transporting a senior official has encountered mechanical issues.

Months ago, a US Air Force plane transporting the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was required to turn back to Washington DC after experiencing a technical issue.
