'The all-time low': Donald Trump rails against Time magazine's 'extremely poor' cover photo.

It is a glowing article in a periodical that the president has frequently admired – with one exception. The front-page image, Trump declared, ""could be the worst ever".

Time's praise to Donald Trump's part in facilitating a truce for Gaza, headlining its early November edition, was presented alongside a photo of the president captured from underneath and with the sun shining from the back.

The result, he says, is "super bad".

"The publication wrote a fairly positive story about me, but the image may be the Worst of All Time", the president posted on his preferred network.

“My hair was obscured, and then there was something floating my head that looked like a suspended diadem, but very tiny. Really weird! I have always hated being captured from low angles, but this is a awful image, and it deserves to be called out. What is their goal, and why?”

The president has expressed obvious his ambition to appear on Time magazine's front page and accomplished it multiple times in the past year. The preoccupation has extended to the president's resorts – years ago, the publication requested to remove fabricated front pages on display at some of his properties.

The most recent cover image was captured by a photographer for a news agency at the presidential residence on October 5.

The shot's viewpoint did no favours for his chin and neck area – an opening that California governor Gavin Newsom seized, with his press office sharing an altered image with the criticized section blurred.

{The living Israeli hostages held in Gaza have been freed under the initial stage of Donald Trump's peace plan, together with a freeing of Palestinian inmates. This agreement might turn into a major success of his next term, and it could mark a pivotal moment for the Middle East.

At the same time, a support for Trump's image has come from an unexpected source: the spokesperson at Russia’s ministry of foreign affairs intervened to criticise the "revealing" photo selection.

"It’s astonishing: a photo reveals far more about those who chose it than about the person in it. Only sick people, people filled with spite and resentment –possibly even deviants – could have selected such an image", the official posted on the messaging platform.

"And given the complimentary photos of President Biden that the same publication displayed on the cover, even with his age-related challenges, the case is self-damaging for Time", she said.

The answer to the president's inquiries – why did they choose this, and why? – might involve innovatively depicting a feeling of authority says a picture editor, a media professional.

The photograph technically technically is good," she says. "They selected this photo because they wanted trump to look heroic. Looking up at a person evokes a feeling of their majesty and his expression actually looks thoughtful and almost a bit ethereal. It’s not often you see images of the president in such a serene moment – the image has a softness to it."

His hair seems to vanish because the rear illumination has overexposed that part of the image, generating a radiant circle, she says. Even though the feature's heading pairs nicely with his facial expression in the image, "one cannot constantly gratify the subject matter."

"No one likes being shot from underneath, and even if all of the conceptual elements of the image are highly effective, the visual appeal are not complimentary."

The news outlet contacted the magazine for comment.
